In Ontario, Mary Haugh, a lady from the Perth County has invented a better way to move pigs. She calls it the “LongArm”.
LongArm, according to her, is a 50 foot curtain which acts as the gate. This is fully retractable (I mean LongArm, not this story 🙂 )
According to her, LongArm needs only one person to operate, is easy to clean, and can move pigs, sheep and poultry. She is working on a larger (and possibly longer) LongArm version which can be used for moving cattle.
She has patented LongArm, and has started selling it. The web site is here.
